Viral App Labs LLC (“Viral App Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates Pet Chat: Dog & Cat Translator, an app that turns your pet’s sounds into playful translations and lets you talk back, chat with an AI version of your pet, and find pet care tips on iPhone (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Pet Chat is private by design. It runs on Apple Intelligence entirely on your iPhone, so your conversations and your pet’s sounds stay on your device. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Pet Chat is made for entertainment. Translations, moods, daily thoughts, and AI chat responses are playful interpretations, not literal communication from your pet, and the behavior, training, food safety, and new pet parent tips are general information only. They are not a substitute for professional veterinary, nutritional, or behavioral advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian about your pet’s health, diet, and care.

• Your pet’s sounds. When you record your pet to create a translation, the audio is processed on your device to generate a playful result. Recordings stay on your device, are never transmitted to us, and we never have access to them.
• Your pet’s profile. The name, breed, personality, and any details or photos you add for your pet are stored locally on your device so the App can personalize translations and chats.
• Microphone, only for recording. With your permission, the App uses your microphone to record your pet when you choose to. The audio is processed on your device and is never stored or sent to us.
• Your conversations. The messages you exchange with the AI version of your pet are handled on your device by Apple Intelligence and are not sent to our servers.
• Anonymized usage and device information. We may collect anonymized usage metrics and basic device information to diagnose issues, fix bugs, and improve the App.

Pet Chat does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, contacts, or other personal identifiers.

Pet Chat uses Apple Intelligence to generate translations, moods, daily thoughts, and chat responses. This processing runs on your iPhone, so the content of your pet’s sounds and your conversations is not sent to Viral App Labs and is not used to train our models. Availability of on-device intelligence features depends on your device and the version of iOS you are running.

The microphone permission is used solely to record your pet when you tap to record, so the App can create a translation. You can manage or revoke microphone access at any time in your device settings. Denying microphone access disables recording-based translations but does not affect the soundboard or chat.

Pet Chat includes Home Screen widgets, an Apple Watch soundboard, and watch face messages. These features display content such as daily thoughts and soundboard buttons drawn from data already stored on your device. Audio played through the soundboard is generated on your device and is not recorded or transmitted.

We use the limited information described above to:

• Operate and maintain the App, including generating translations, powering chat, and personalizing results for your pet.
• Diagnose problems and fix bugs.
• Improve features and the overall experience.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising.

Your pet’s profile, recordings, and conversations remain stored on your device. We implement reasonable technical measures to protect the limited information we handle. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Pet Chat may integrate with Apple services such as Apple Intelligence, In-App Purchases, the App Store, iCloud, and WatchOS. Your use of those services is governed by their own privacy policies. We do not share your data with advertising networks. If you choose to share a translation or result, any content you share is subject to the privacy policy of the service you share it to.

You may access, correct, or delete the information associated with the App at any time by editing or removing your pet’s profile and content within Pet Chat, by managing permissions in your device settings, by deleting the App, or by contacting us. Pet Chat is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
