How does Tanning App know how long I can stay in the sun?
Tanning App combines the live UV index for your location with the skin type and SPF level you set to estimate a personalized tan timer. These are general estimates for your own reference, not medical advice — always use sun protection and use your own judgment.
Why does the app need my location?
Location is used to retrieve the real-time UV index for exactly where you are. Without it, the app can't give you accurate, up-to-date UV readings or tan timers. You can manage location access anytime in your iPhone's Settings.
My SPF or tan reminder didn't arrive. What should I check?
Make sure Tanning App has notification permission, your device isn't in silent mode, and that any Focus or Do Not Disturb mode allows Tanning App. Keep your device charged and avoid force-quitting the app so reminders can be delivered reliably.
Is my data private?
Yes. Tanning App works without an account, and your skin type, SPF, and preferences are stored on your device. Location is used only to fetch the UV index for your area. We do not sell or trade your personal information.
How do I cancel a subscription or get a refund?
Subscriptions and purchases are managed through your Apple ID in the App Store. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies. You can manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone's Settings under your Apple Account.
