Authenticator App stores your two-factor secrets on your device, protected by iOS security and the app lock you choose. You are responsible for keeping your device, passphrase, and encrypted backups safe. If you lose access to all of them, your codes cannot be recovered. Always keep the backup or recovery codes each service provides in a safe place.
